Analysis of Dextrose and Fructose in Cranberry Fruit Juice (NH2P-50 4E)

According to the United States Pharmacopeia and the National Formulary (USPNF 2022 Issue 3*), analysis of dextrose (D-glucose) and fructose in cranberry fruit juice should be carried out with a column filled with L8 packing material (aminopropylsilane chemically bonded to totally porous silica gel). Meanwhile, this application shows that a polymer-based amino column, Asahipak NH2P-50 4E is also feasible analyzing dextrose and fructose in cranberry juice following the similar conditions mentioned in the monogram.

Sample pretreatment

  1. Filter cranberry juice with a 0.45-µm filter membrane and use it as an injection sample.

Sample: 10 µL each
