Analysis of Dextrose and Fructose in Cranberry Juice (NH2P-50 4E)

According to the United States Pharmacopeia and the National Formulary monograph for cranberry juice (USPNF 2022 Issue 3*) uses a silica-based amino column for the analysis of dextrose (D-glucose) and fructose. In this application, we used a polymer-based amino column, Asahiak NH2P-50 4E, and referred to the USP monograph method. The results showed that NH2P-50 4E is also feasible to analyze dextrose and fructose in cranberry juice.

Sample pretreatment

  1. (1)Filter cranberry juice with a 0.45-μm filter membrane and use it as an injection sample.
