Threose and its isomer, erythrose, are rare sugars which only exist in nature in small amounts. They are tetroses that contain four carbons in their structures. In this application, a ligand exchange column, SUGAR SC1011 was used to analyze threose and erythrose. The SC1011 is suitable for the separations of isomers such as threose and erythrose.
