Analysis of 2-Deoxy-D-glucose (VG-50 4E)

Print

2-Deoxy-D-glucose is a glucose molecule which has the 2-hydroxyl group replaced by hydrogen, and it is not metabolized by glycolysis. D-Glucal is the starting material for the synthesizing of 2-Deoxy-D-glucose. The separation of 2-Deoxy-D-glucose, D-Glucal and glucose was made by HILICpak VG-50 4E column which is a polymer-based amino column.
