The particle size of HK-404L is 3.5 μm and smaller than conventional type (KF-805L：10 μm).Generally, as the particle size reduces, the Van Deemter curve becomes flatter and column efficiency is less influenced by high flow rate. The column efficiency of HK-404L at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min hardly decreases.
