Analysis of Omega-3 Free Fatty Acids According to USP-NF Method (KF-802.5 + KF-802 + KF-801)

Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids. They are "essential fatty acids" that humans must ingest them through foods since humans cannot synthesize them. According to the United States Pharmacopeia and the National Formulary (USP 43-NF 38*), "IMPURITIES: Oligomers" for "Omega-3 Free Fatty Acids" should be carried out with three columns (connected in series) filled with L21 packing material. The GPC KF-802.5, KF-802 and KF-801 filled with L21 packing material, in series confirmed the requirements were met.
