The results of analysis of samples containing saccharides, organic acids and alcohols using SUGAR SH1821 are shown here. With RI detection, the peaks of these compounds overlap each other. However, with UV detection (at 210 nm), there is a possibility of quantifying organic acids as saccharides have little absorbance at 210 nm.
