Ion chromatography (cation) column, IC YS-50 was used to separate mono- and di-valent cations in the presence of albumin. No considerable influence from the presence of albumin was observed. Part of protein (alubumin) may be adsorbed on the column, thus column cleaning using10 mM Na2HPO4 (pH9-9.5) is recommended after the analysis.
