Analysis of Cyclodextrins (NH2P-50 4E)

Three cyclodextrins were separated using Asahipak NH2P-50 4E, a polymer-based amino column. These conditions lead to a short elution time with greater resolution compared to the separation using an SEC column.


Sample : 20 μL
250 μg/mL each (in H2O/CH3CN=50/50)
1. α-Cyclodextrin
2. γ-Cyclodextrin
3. β-Cyclodextrin


Column       : Shodex Asahipak NH2P-50 4E (4.6 mm I.D. x 250 mm)
Eluent       : CH3CN/H2O=60/40
Flow rate    : 1.0 mL/min
Detector     : RI
Column temp. : 40 °C
