The National Ecological Environment Standards of China HJ 1288 2023* “Water Quality - Determination of Acrylic Acid by Ion Chromatography” specifies the use of an ion exchange column compatible with carbonate based eluents, which is packed with polymer-based packing material, such as styrene divinylbenzene or polyvinyl alcohol, modified with quaternary ammonium groups, or a column with equivalent performance. Using IC SI-90 4E, an anion analysis column, a good linear calibration curve for acrylic acid were obtained.
