In accordance with the provisions of the “Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China,” arabinoxylan has been approved as a new food ingredient. For the analysis of arabinoxylan, the method specifies the use of an H type carbohydrate analysis column (7.8 mm (I.D.) x 300 mm (length), particle size: 5 µm) or a column with equivalent performance. Using SUGAR SH1011 column, good linear calibration curves for xylose, arabinose, xylobiose, and xylotriose were obtained.
