According to the National Standards of China GB 1903.75 2025* “National Food Safety Standard - Food Nutritional Fortifiers: (6S)-5 Methyltetrahydrofolate and Glucosamine Salts”, analysis of glucosamine salts specifies the use of an amino column (4.6 mm (I.D.) x 250 mm (length), particle size: 5 µm) or a column with equivalent performance. Asahipak NH2P-50 4E, a polymer based amino column, confirmed the requirements were met.

Tailing factor (glucosamine hydrochloride standard solution): ≤ 2.0
Relative standard deviation (RSD) of peak area (glucosamine hydrochloride standard solution): ≤ 2.0% (repeated 6 times)
