Analysis of Chlorogenic Acid (C18M 4D)

Chlorogenic acid is contained in the coffee beans and is a kind of polyphenol. Chrologenic acid has been reported to have several bioactivities, like improving blood pressure and anti-carcinogenic effects. Chlorogenic acid is easily decomposed to caffeic acid and quinic acid by heating in the process of roasting coffee beans. Chlorogenic acid caffeic acid and caffeine were analyzed by Silica C18M 4D, a ODS column.
