Four hydrophobic anions were analyzed using an anion analysis column for non-suppressor method, IC I-524A. The method optimized here is able to analyze hydrophobic anions without the interference of standard anions.

Column : Shodex IC I-524A (4.6 mm I.D. x 100 mm) Eluent : 2.5 mM Phthalic acid + 3.3 mM Tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane aq. Flow rate : 1.2 mL/min Detector : Non-suppressed conductivity Column temp. : 40 °C
