Anions in Beer (I-524A)

The eluent used here is suitable for the simultaneous analysis of inorganic anions and dibasic and tribasic organic acids using IC I-524A (an anion analysis column for non-suppressor method). Organic acids are contained in beer and they interfere with the quantification of anions. Cl-, NO3- and SO42- can be separated without such interference of organic acids. Organic acids, oxalic acid and citric acid also can be analyzed without interference.
