Anion standards were analyzed using IC I-524A. A phthalic acid eluent is recommended for the general analysis. Most of the important anions such as F^-or H₂PO₄^-, Cl^-, NO₂^-, Br^-, NO₃^- and SO₄^2- can be analyzed with this eluent. Therefore, it is suitable for the routine analysis of anions.
