Nylon 6/9 was analyzed using GPC HK-404L, an organic SEC (GPC) column for ultra-rapid analysis. It can achieve approximately half of the analysis time compared with a  standard column (8.0 mm I.D. x 300 mm) and the amount HFIP used can be greatly reduced to about a sixth. Since HFIP is very expensive, not only environmental concerns but also the burden of analysis costs can be reduced.
