Polystyrene Standards (9) (KD-802)

Polystyrene standards were analyzed using GPC KD-802 (a column for organic SEC (GPC)).
In this chromatogram, the peak of the polystyrene molecular weight of 580 is eluted near the peaks (arrow mark) which correspond to water or air from the solvent. It is known that the polystyrene standard retention time is delayed when DMF is used as the eluent on an SEC column packed with styrene divinylbenzeve copolymer. Therefore, it is recommended to make the calibration curve for the KD-800 series using a PEG / PEO standard.
Please refer to Comparison of Calibration Curves for KD-802.5 and SB-802.5 HQ (DMF Eluent: PEG, PEO and PS)
