Taurine and inositol were separated using Asahipak NH2P-50, a polymer-based amino column.

Column       : Shodex Asahipak NH2P-50 4E (4.6mmI.D. x 250mm)
Eluent       : 50mM HCOONH4 aq./CH3CN=25/75
Flow rate    : 1.0mL/min
Detector     : Shodex RI
Column temp. : 30°C
*For column equilibration: First introduce 50mM Ammonium formate aq. at 0.5 mL/min for 2 hours, and then switch to the eluent.
