Analysis of D-Ribose in According to Japanese and Korean Official Analysis Methods for Food Additives (SC1011)

D-Ribose is a pentose aldose and is used as a sweetener. Japan's Specifications and Standards for Food Additives and Korean Food Additives Codex describe the quantitative methods for D-Ribose, with almost identical analytical conditions.
By using SUGAR SC1011, a ligand exchange chromatography column, in accordance with each official D-Ribose analysis method, it was confirmed that SC1011 is applicable to both analyses.
