- The standard eluents are buffers and aqueous solutions of salt such as sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium sulfate, and potassium sulfate. Salts may also be added to the buffers. The recommended total salt concentration ranges are 20 mM - 1 M.
- Up to 20 % (v/v) polar organic solvents such as ethylene glycol and 2-propanol can be added.

When using a salt gradient method, perform below equilibration steps to obtain repeatable results.
- 1.Introduce 10 mL of Solution A (Lower salt concentration)
- 2.Introduce 40 mL of Solution B (Higher salt concentration)
- 3.Introduce more than 15 mL of Solution A
