Cations in Beer

Cations in beer was analyzed using IC YK-421. Two types of beer, malt type and dry type were analyzed.


Sample : Beer (10-fold diluted), 30micro-L

2. NH4+
3. K+
4. Ca2+
5. Mg2+

Column       : Shodex IC YK-421 (4.6mmID*125mm)
Eluent       : 5mM Tartaric acid + 0.8mM Dipicolinic acid aq.
Flow rate    : 1.0mL/min
Detector     : Shodex CD
Column temp. : 40deg-C
