Tap Water (4) (I-524A)

Based on the method described in the Japanese regulation for water supply, anions were analyzed using IC I-524A.
Please refer to 'Regulation for Water Supply'.

(Preparation of eluent)
1) Put 0.332g of reagent grade phthalic acid, 0.223g of reagent grade tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane and 18.5g of boric acid into a 1 liter messflask.
2) Dilute with purified water to make up a 1 liter solution.
3) Dissolve by stirring and warming.
4) Pass through a 0.2micron membrane filter before use.

This method is patented in Japan by Shimadzu Corporation.
