SEC Analysis of Saccharated Ferric Oxide Injection (SB-804 HQ + SB-802.5 HQ)

Saccharated Ferric Oxide injection, a kind of intravenous iron injection, was analyzed with SEC (GFC) column OHpak SB-804 HQ and SB-802.5 HQ in series. It is possible to calculate the molecular weight of Saccharated Ferric Oxide. Shodex Standard P-82 (pullulan, molecular weight from 5,000 to 400,000) was used as a standard. It may be possible to use this analysis condition for Iron sucrose table as well. Both Saccharated Ferric Oxide and Iron sucrose have similar chemical structure.
