Analysis of Theanine (NH2P-50 4E)

Theanine is a type of amino acid which is contained in tea, and is a component related to umami and sweetness. In addition, theanine has reported relaxation effects such as improving sleep quality. Here, theanine as well as various amino acids contained in tea were separated using Asahipak NH2P-50 4E, a polymer-based amino column, under HILIC mode conditions.
