最近在日本，尿液中的某些代谢物已经作为特殊项目被加入身体健康检查中。使用反相色谱柱RSpak DE-413，10分钟内分析甲苯、二甲苯、苯乙烯的代谢物马尿酸、甲基马尿酸(o-, m-, p-)、扁桃酸及肌酐6种成分。
